De Collega's

De Collega's is a classic Belgian comedy TV series about colleges working in an office of the Ministry of Finance. It originally aired for three seasons between 9 September 1978 and 21 February 1981 on the BRT. A total of 37 episodes was made. The series was written by Jan Matterne, who also directed the first season. The second and third seasons were directed by Vincent Rouffaer. In 1988 a feature film was released, De Kollega's Maken de Brug. The series was re-aired numerous times, most recently in October 2008.

Bompa

Den Bompa Jos Vleugels is the widower of the bomma Anna and lives with his grandson Leo. He has 2 sons, the eldest is Paul Vleugels, who married aunt Josée Clinckhamers at the beginning of the series. Later in the series, however, they divorce and Paul leaves on a world tour and continues to live in Australia.

Je T'Aime, Je T'Aime

Recovering from an attempted suicide, a man is selected to participate in a time travel experiment that has only been tested on mice. A malfunction in the experiment causes the man to experience moments from his past in a random order.

In the meantime, we closely follow the personal lives of the Van den Bossches and their entourage. Grandma Anna and all her children and grandchildren have been through a lot over time and it doesn't look like their lives will become calmer any time soon.

Mailbox X

Postbus X is a childrens series, set in the editorial office of "De Ravenburgse Post", owned by eccentric Jonathan Hiks, later succeeded by his daughter Ilse Hiks. The Ravenburgse Post is in fact a cover for the organization Mailbox X '. People with problems can write a letter to Postbus X (PO Box X, actually 10) Ravenburg and then possibly helped. The team includes Jonathan Hiks (and later Ilse Hiks), Bodo and later Waldo of "Het Melkhuisje" (a café in the same building), Pol and Jessie. The meetings always go by at Het Melkhuisje, which is connected with the Office of Hiks with a hidden elevator . The rest of the editorial staff doesn't know anything of the activities of Postbus X, which sometimes leads to difficulties, especially when it comes to the clumsy and lazy worker 'De Vergulden Veder' Felix Haentjes, who is however, in favor of state editor Miss Pluym.

R.I.P.

RIP was about the funeral company Vingerhoets. This business is losing its paterfamilias and boss. The widow Victorine Vingerhoets and her nephew, Willie Haezevoets, who live at home, have to take over the business and keep it going. Willie is patronized as a son and doesn't feel like going through life as an undertaker because he is desperately looking for a wife. The input of friend of the house Raymond van Derre (also known as Raymondke) often ensured that things never went the way they should.

The Conscript

In 1833, when the fledgling Belgian kingdom still fears a Dutch invasion, recruits were selected annually from an age cohort by a draw of lots in each locality. In this grim, then contemporary drama by the 'father of Flemish literature', Hendrik Conscience, Jan Braems, a poor and naive farmers-boy, accepts the not uncommon offer by a rich family to sell his lucky ticket (out) to their son for a hefty sum compared to the miserable labor wages at the time. Army life is even harsher then a farmhand's, especially for a Dutch-speaking an-alphabet who simply can't understand his francophone superiors, and Jan's nature is not complacent enough for military discipline even by todays standards, so he soon gets into all kinds of trouble, including gambling his capital away and a venereal disease. When his girlfriend back home goes looking for him, her life is doomed as well.
