Machine Head - Hellfest 2024
It was in 1991, in Oakland (California) that Machine Head was born. Around Rob Flynn, a groove and thrash metal band was formed that is now one of the heavyweights of the genre. It must be said that the band has benefited from a big boost by opening for Metallica between 2008 and 2011. Machine Head made its debut in 1994 with the furious Burn My Eyes. An album that has become a classic of the genre! At the other end of their discography is Of Kingdom and Crown, their ninth album released in 2022. Machine Head's participation in festivals is rare! Luckily for us and the Clisson public, the Americans decided to make a stop at Hellfest. So we don't deny our pleasure and join the thousands of fans gathered in front of the festival's Mainstage! Filmed on June 28, 2024 at the Hellfest Open Air Festival, Clisson.

Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story
Murder In The Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story. In the early 1980’s, a small group of dedicated Bay Area headbangers shunned the hard rock of MTV and Hollywood hairspray bands in favor of a more dangerous brand of metal that became known as thrash! From the tape trading network to the clubs to the record stores and fanzines, director Adam Dubin reveals how the scene nurtured the music and the music spawned a movement. Murder In The Front Row is told through powerful first person testimony and stunning animation and photography. The film is a social study of a group of young people defying the odds and building something essential for themselves. Featuring interviews with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Testament, Death Angel, Possessed and many more! Narrated by Brian Posehn.

Roadrunner United was a project organized by the heavy metal record label Roadrunner Records to celebrate its 25th anniversary. It culminated in an album released worldwide on October 11, 2005, entitled The All-Star Sessions. Four "team captains" were chosen to lead 57 artists from 45 past and present Roadrunner bands, and produce and oversee the album's 18 tracks: Joey Jordison of Slipknot and Murderdolls; Matt Heafy of Trivium; Dino Cazares of Fear Factory, Asesino and Divine Heresy and formerly of Brujeria; and Robert Flynn of Machine Head and formerly of Vio-lence and Forbidden. The unprecedented project was the brainchild of Roadrunner UK General Manager Mark Palmer and Roadrunner USA VP of A&R Monte Conner.
