On an island in the middle of the ocean, inhabited by nine elderly people, including the ancient wizard Lucanòr, no one remembers what children are. One day, however, a boat carrying a group of helpless shipwrecked children arrives on this piece of land surrounded by the sea. Will the children manage to gain respect? Who will help them?

Our story starts with Tonio, the son the bears King, being kidnapped by some hunters in the Sicilian mountains. Because of the harshness of a winter that threatens its clan with famine, the Bear King decides to invade the land of men (in the hope of finding his son). Thanks to his powerful army and the help of a wizard, he will succeed at both quests but he will soon find out that bears are not meant to live in the land of men.

To make this dream come true, Piaggio turns to engineer Corradino D’Ascanio, a brilliant designer who uses the experience gained in the field of aeronautics to create the scooter that remains today the symbol of Italian creativity and design: the Vespa!

Piedmont (Italy), nineteenth century. In Turin, the priest Don Bosco, a man from a humble farming family, he gave himself totally and passionately to the task of collecting from the streets to marginalized children and care for them. Not only out of poverty, ignorance and social distress, but it got for the first time, to feel loved. He fought with extraordinary faith and tenacity to overcome obstacles and snares that both the civilian and ecclesiastical authorities, they put in their path to prevent him from completing his goal: the founding of the Congregation of the Salesians, which would guarantee the future of their children .

Angelo is a forty-year-old messy man, nice but a bit of a scoundrel. He makes a living by selling fake paintings to rich Japanese on holiday, until one day he is unmasked and to escape the police who are hunting him he takes the first flight to an unknown destination. As luck would have it, the first plane he can catch takes him to Los Angeles. Having arrived in California penniless and with his credit cards blocked, he gets by for a few days as a bum when suddenly he comes up with a brilliant idea. Thanks to this resemblance, Angelo shows up at the funeral, staging a dramatic and heartfelt condolence, and then shows up at George's villa declaring that he is his brother...
