Ryszard Ber was born on 2 February 1933 in Wilno, Wilenskie, Poland [now Vilnius, Lithuania]. He was a director and writer, known for Cudzoziemka (1986), Thais (1984) and Kaszebe (1971) He died on 27 May 2004 in Poland.
