Salim was born May 28 1977 in Dallas Texas USA at the age of 4, he did a commercial for Sesame Street (1969), appeared in several theater productions at 5 with a Houston children's group called "Too Short for Prime Time". He guest-starred in various TV series such as Sister, Sister (1994) and Family Matters (1989).
