Biography
Samir Youssif Ghanem graduated from the faculty of agriculture in 1967. He became friends with George Seydhom and al-Deyf Ahmed and the three formed “Adwaa al-Masrah” (Theater Lights), which was a singing and acting trozupe. Ghanem had outstanding stage performances in the productions “Tabeekh al-Malayka” (Angelic Cuisine), “Romeo wa Juliet,” among others. Ghanem also had an outstanding performance in “Fawazir Ramadan” – Ramadan Trivia Shows – where he assumed the character Fatouta. Among his most successful television performances was his role in “Hekayat Captain Mizo” (The Tales of Captain Mizo). Although having a career containing several flops and mediocre efforts, Ghanem is considered among the most talented, spontaneous and resourceful comedic actors in the middle east.

Ah Ya Lail Ya Zaman

Kill my wife and I will salute you
Rustam rushes the death of his wealthy wife Tafida so he can inherit her. When Magdy and Mona kidnap Tafida and threaten to kill her if Rustom doesn't give them a large sum of money for their performing band, Rustum refuses and finds it an opportunity to get rid of her.

The Married Couples
The story revolves around the problems of married people in (Egypt) from the economic and social aspects, where the poor young man (Masoud) falls in love with the aristocratic girl (Lina), and marries her despite her father's refusal. The simple poor life experience with her husband, whom she loves, her father tries to pressure her by various means, including threatening to deprive her of the inheritance, but she is determined to stay with her husband, Masoud asks Lina to move with her to her father's villa in order to get out of the difficult life he lives in rented home.

The Liar
When Hamdy publishes an investigative report condemning the owner of a textile company and accusing him of embezzlement and bribery, the owner tries to clear his name by getting the factory workers and Hamdy to change their testimony.

Arbab Sawabeq
Businessman Salem receives a phone call from an unknown person threatening him with death if he does not give him an amount of money, so that the police, in cooperation with Salem and the repentant pickpocket Zaki, draw up a plan to place him in their fist and succeed in their mission, so Salem is surprised that the accused is Shawqi's business manager.

Bride and two grooms
Soria works in the theatrical troupe "Asfour Troupe" and marries the director, Essam, despite the actor Shaker being in love with her. Essam travels abroad, and the ship he's on sinks. After the legal waiting period for a missing spouse passes, Soria marries Shaker. Essam suddenly returns, shocking everyone with his reappearance. He is unaware that his wife married his friend during his absence. Soria is torn – Essam insists on reclaiming her, while she feels affection for both husbands. Sensing Soria's inner conflict, Shaker divorces her and marries his colleague Sanaa. Meanwhile, Essam returns to Soria once again.

Bakiza and Zaghloul
The series tells the story of Bakiza, who was surprised after the death of her rich elderly husband - Ashmawi - with Maji, his daughter, Zaghloul, who was raised in poverty away from her rich father. Ashmawi, the father of Zaghloul, tried at the end of his days to search for his daughter through advertisement in the newspapers, but the result is the arrival of his daughter Zaghloul late after his death to find his widow "Bakiza" - Suheir Al-Babyloni - arrogant and poor at the same time. The series is exposed to the paradoxes that result from the difference between the two characters and the way they deal with the difficulties they face after the death of Ashmawi, after discovering that he died penniless and that they share a legacy from which he remains after paying his debts except home.

Too Young for Love
Samiha catches the acting bug while engaged to the neglectful and food-obsessed Salah who spends most of his time cooking. When a handsome film and television director announces a contest to select Egypt's next star, Samiha becomes determined to win it...even if she has to pretend to be thirteen years old.
