Dato' Hajah Sarimah binti Ahmad or better known as Sarimah Ahmad or Sarimah(Jawi: سريمه أحمد; born on 28 April 1942) is a Malaysian actress most famously known for her work in various black-and-white Malay films of the 1960s and 1970s including Ibu Mertua-ku(1962) and Madu Tiga(1964). She was often collaborated with P.Ramlee with her first role debut as Marjina in Ali Baba Bujang Lapok(1961). The other films with P-Ramlee would be Ibu Mertua-ku(1962), Madu Tiga(1964), Tiga Abdul(1964), Kanchan Tirana(1969) and Dr. Rushdi(1970).

Ali Baba Bujang Lapok
In Baghdad lived Ali Baba, the pauper, and his brother, the rich man Kassim Baba. Ali Baba earns his living by collecting firewood, but due to his working nature, he is not able to earn much, so he frequently asks his brother for help with money and food once in a while. His wealthy brother always looks down on him, saying that he lacks ambition to improve his life if he continues doing the same work. One day, while Ali Baba is collecting firewood near a cliff as always, he spots a group of thieves heading toward a nearby cave. The third installment of the 'Bujang Lapok' series based on the 1001 Arabian Nights tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. This film chronicles the adventures of Ali Baba with generous twists of Malay humor and general hilarity.

Madu Tiga

Indera Bangsawan

Will the two lost brothers ever find the buluh perindu?

Menanti Hari Esok
This film is a heavy drama about the downfall of moral values of a family when proper religion teaching is not being instilled in them since they were small. Having a very good career and being respected by others around you wont determine that you will get the same kind of treatment with your own flesh and blood. As a teacher Mr. Talib is the best there could ever be but as to bringing up his own kids he is clearly a failure. Apart from the troubles he has faced at home with his family he is also waiting for death.
