Bellator MMA x RIZIN 2

Bellator MMA x Rizin 2 and Super Rizin 2 was a mixed martial arts event being co-promoted by Bellator MMA and the Rizin Fighting Federation that took place on July 30, 2023, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. A Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix quarterfinal bout between former Bellator Featherweight Champion A. J. McKee and former Bellator Lightweight Champion Patricky Pitbull was scheduled to headline the event. However, on July 26, it was announced McKee had pulled out of the bout due to medical issues and was replaced by current Rizin Lightweight Champion Roberto de Souza at a catchweight of 161 pounds.[

RIZIN 45 live from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The main event will be a bantamweight title showdown between Juan Archuleta and Kai Asakura. American athlete “The Spaniard” Archuleta picked up the RIZIN title earlier this year and is now looking to add his first title defense. Additionally, the 36-year-old athlete is a former Bellator MMA world champion. Japan’s Kai Asakura is a fan favorite. He and his brother are known for their exciting and tactical style of fighting. Throughout his career, the majority of his wins were captured by way of knockout or TKO. Asakura is coming off a of knockout by way of a knee to the body to earn his title shot.

The event includes the continuation of their Super Atomweight Grand Prix and Hiromasa Ougikubo’s first appearance since winning a bantamweight tournament last year. In what is the biggest return of the night, RIZIN Bantamweight Champion Kyoji Horiguchi fights in Japan for the first time since late 2020, facing Kintaro in the main event.

SUPER RIZIN.4 takes place on July 27, 2025, at Saitama Super Arena (Stadium Version) in Saitama, Japan. The main event features Mikuru Asakura taking on Kleber Koike. The card also includes Naoki Inoue facing Ryuya Fukuda for the RIZIN Bantamweight title. Inoue, a 28-year-old submission expert, clashes with 31-year-old DEEP two-division champion Fukuda.
