A Moscow journalist is sent to prepare a report on the work of Santa Claus on New Year's Eve. Dressed in the suit and beard of the main New Year's wizard, he gets home to the boy Sasha, to whom he promises to fulfill his desire - to return his dad.

Chagall-Malevich

The film is an attempt to recreate the world of Marc Chagall and his myth within the genre of a folklore ballad. We are not exploiting Chagall's images, but are attempting to create a dramatized projection of his creativity onto the movie screen, relying on both, facts and fantasy (as Chagall himself would).The story is based on real events which occurred at the time of Chagall's short-lived period in Vitebskin in 1917-18, during which time he creates the Academy of Modern Art, inspired by his dreams of a bright and beautiful future. Many pictures by Chagall and Malevich are used in the film.

My Last Name is Shilov

After getting fired from the police department, Roman Shilov wants to spend some time in personal affairs. But he gets a call from a wife of Michael Krasnov, who in past provided evidence, which helped to put into jail a dangerous killer. Now Nadya Krasnova tells Shilov that Michael has been kidnapped by unknown persons. Shilov goes to help his old friend and gets nvolved in the criminal events.
