Biography
Shah Rukh Khan (born November 2, 1965), often referred to as SRK or the "King of Bollywood," is one of India's most iconic actors and producers. Born in Delhi, he began his career in television with shows like Fauji (1988) and Circus (1989). His film debut came in 1992 with Deewana, which marked the start of an illustrious career. Shah Rukh Khan has appeared in over 80 films, earning widespread acclaim for his performances in movies such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Chak De! India (2007), and My Name Is Khan (2010). He has won 14 Filmfare Awards, including eight for Best Actor, a record in Bollywood. In 2005, he was honored with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. Beyond acting, SRK is a successful entrepreneur, co-owning the Kolkata Knight Riders cricket team and founding the production company Red Chillies Entertainment. He is also known for his philanthropic work, particularly in child health and education. Shah Rukh Khan is married to Gauri Khan, and they have three children.

Wagle Ki Duniya (literally: 'Wagle's World') was a popular sitcom on Indian television that originally aired between 1988 and 1990. It was directed by Kundan Shah and was based on characters created by noted cartoonist R. K. Laxman, especially "the common man" about the issues of common middle-class Indian man. It starred Anjan Srivastav as a bumbling salesclerk in a multinational company and Bharati Achrekar as his wife. The series was a hit and made Anjan Srivastav a household name.
