Behind the Scenes: I've Been Here Alone
Hasan (33), who works as a sales manager in a construction company, and his wife Farida (30) have not been able to have children for a long time. After a doctor's examination, Hasan learns that he is infertile. But Hasan, who is afraid of harming his masculinity, hides this information from his wife. At the insistence of Hasan's mother, who thinks that the problem is in Sevda, they go to a midwife who lives in a village for treatment.

Down the River

Good Bye, Southern City
The film takes place in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku at the end of the 1980s. At this time, the Soviet Union was starting to fall apart, and with this came the start of a number of ethnic conflicts. Fariz and his family move into a Baku apartment block from war-torn Nagorno-Karabakh. Fariz's relations with his new neighbors are strained by his accusations that it was people like them who failed to support the Azeris in their conflict with ethnic Armenians. The only one who stands up to him is Alik, who acts as peacemaker between him and the older inhabitants of the building. Alik has no reservations about brandishing his gun in order to keep the peace. One day, the apartment managers want to evict a number of musicians who have been squatting in the basement. Alik gets involved, but soon discovers the situation is more complicated that he first believed.

After the collapse of the Soviet power in the 90s, a chemist scientist in one of Azerbaijan's scientific research institutes obtains a new solution. The scientist examines the positive and negative consequences of the chemical solution. With its help, a certain part of a person's memory can be erased and used in negative activities. At the same time, it can protect people from drug addiction and alcoholism. But the results are not as expected.

Trap
The film takes place in Karabakh, where Baku students come to help build a settlement for refugees. Among them are two young lovers, Tural and Gunel. One night, they witness a failed sabotage attempt by Armenian militants, which Tural manages to record on his video camera. The footage shows explosions, armed extremists, and an unmarked helicopter, becoming key evidence. Realizing this, the enemies decide to eliminate the unwanted witness.

A comfortable place in the garden
The film's hero is the city's famous barber, Mammadali (Hasan Mammadov). He is passionate about his profession. His clients are officials and famous people. A humorous and gentle man by nature, Mammadali has a difficult relationship with his wife (Ofeliya Mammadzadeh). His wife is a teacher, a frivolous woman who looks down on her husband's profession... Although his wife and older son are indifferent toward him, he doesn't make a tragedy out of it; on the contrary, he tries to be understanding. And he has enough love for both his profession and his family. Even when his sixteen-year-old son asks him to leave the house on his birthday, wanting to be alone with his friends, he understands. Despite feeling a momentary disappointment.

Steppe Man
