Known For

The Banshees of Inisherin
Two lifelong friends find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship, with alarming consequences for both of them.

The Commitments
Jimmy Rabbitte, just a thick-ya out of school, gets a brilliant idea: to put a soul band together in Barrytown, his slum home in north Dublin. First he needs musicians and singers: things slowly start to click when he finds three fine-voiced females virtually in his back yard, a lead singer (Deco) at a wedding, and, responding to his ad, an aging trumpet player, Joey "The Lips" Fagan.

The Northman
Prince Amleth is on the verge of becoming a man when his father is brutally murdered by his uncle, who kidnaps the boy's mother. Two decades later, Amleth is now a Viking who's on a mission to save his mother, kill his uncle and avenge his father.

The Van
In a working-class quarter of Dublin, 'Bimbo' Reeves gets laid off from his job and, with his redundancy payout, buys a van and sells fish and chips with his buddy, Larry. Due to Ireland's surprising success at the 1990 FIFA World Cup, their business starts off well, but the relationship between the two friends soon becomes strained as Bimbo behaves more like a typical boss.

The Snapper
Sharon Curley is a 20-year-old living with her parents and many brothers and sisters in Dublin. When she gets pregnant and refuses to name the father, she becomes the talk of the town.

SisterS
Two women, one born in Canada and the other in Ireland, discover they are half-sisters and embark on a road trip to find their alcoholic father.

The Treaty
How the Anglo-Irish Treaty between the unrecognised Irish Republic, represented by Michael Collins, and the British government was concluded after high-stakes negotiations in 1921.

The Country Girls
The lifelong friendship of two rural Irish girls is put on the test when they grow up and leave for the big city, each with different life goals in mind.

Irish Crime: Mercy Killing
Cathrin Blake's neighbor Coner O'Neill is found dead. While Superintendent Sean Kelly assumes a natural death - Coner was over 80 - Cathrin is skeptical, as Coner had shown no signs of frailty so far. At the same time, another male body is found, also over 80. It turns out that both men had contact with the exclusive care home "Eden View". Bridget Howard is a very likeable, warm-hearted woman who is devoted to caring for elderly people without families. Kelly is taken in by the older lady's charm, but Cathrin is suspicious of appearances. Then there is another death at Eden View, and Kelly comes across several unsolved missing persons cases - also linked to Bridget's retirement home. Bridget has plausible explanations for all the incidents, but could it all just be a chain of unfortunate circumstances?

This Is My Father
When schoolteacher Kieran Johnson discovers that his father was not a French sailor (as he had been led to believe) but rather an Irish farmer, he looks to his mother for answers. When she refuses to provide any, Kieran travels to Ireland.
