Biography
Solveig Viola Ternström, bron Johansson, is a Swedish actress, writer and director. She is educated and trained at The Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school 1959-1962. Solveig has so far appeared in some 30 feature films and tv-productions from 1959 to 2008. She served one term in the Swedish Parliament as a politician for Centerpartiet.

Morsarvet
Morsarvet is a 1993 Swedish mini series directed by Staffan Roos written by, and starring, Solveig Ternström. The series was televised on Sveriges television in late 1993.

The Red Room
A young idealistic civil servant, Arvid Falk, leaves the drudgery of bureaucracy to become a journalist and author. As he explores various social activities—politics, publishing, theatre, philanthropy, and business—he finds more hypocrisy and political corruption than he thought possible. Summer Paradise
Conventions of civility among family members are severely strained by the very real breakup of the bonds between them. During a few days at a vacation home, Katha, a woman in late middle age, tries to cope with an influx of discontented, disconnected relatives. Her divorced daughter brings all sorts of people to the house, including a woman-friend accompanied by her psychotic son; the grandfather of the house is convinced he is dying and is satisfied by nothing; and some friends drop off their angry teenage son to stay with her, while they go on a long trip abroad. Her friend Emma doesn't help much with keeping a lid on things, as she is a social worker who is fascinated by the awfulness of these situations.

Till Sex Do Us Part
This Swedish sex-comedy/drama explores the complications in the relationship of a couple who believe that if they make love to each other, they will die. They neck and are physically affectionate in public as well as in private, but have a big taboo against sexual consummation. Their situation drives them to distraction, and they unsuccessfully seek various extramarital outlets for their frustrations.
