The Net

A crime drama with six independent stories. A selected group of General Police officers undertakes the resolution of important cases of special interest, addressing problems that concern today's Greek society. The main characters often move in between “black" and "white" and fall prey to their passions, in a complex situation where victims and perpetrators face circumstances above their limits.

Torpor

In the streets of fear, residents are searching for their local “heroes.” Bodies become docile, desires are suppressed and Alexandros remains a child of his age, against the imperatives of the era, of society and – above all – against the will of his father. Alexandros will need to abandon his teenage self once and forever and choose sides in an undeclared war, in a present shaped by others for him.

Newton: The Force of God

In 1642, amidst the flames of English civil war, Isaac Newton was born. He was the one who would unite Heavens and Earth. A natural philosopher, mathematician, theologian and alchemist, with inexhaustible patience and persistence, Newton was seeking throughout his entire life how God's Design was imprinted in nature. Forged in a hard childhood, defiant and unbowed, confrontational and loner, an endless source of inspiration and creativity, Newton sealed with his work the entire 18th century. The political and social conflicts of the time, Royal Society's establishment, constant changes in political power and the complexities of Newton's personality offer a complete picture of the conditions that led to the emersion of his work.

Postcards from Hellenikon

Slices of life with the former Hellinikon International Airport of Athens as a background, short before the casino is built. A couple in a car at night, a grandma peeling green beans, two gravediggers passing by; people that seemingly are not connected to each other. Among them a little boy, whose toy airplane gets stuck on a huge palm-tree. He‘ll do anything to get it back.

Skipper Straad

A seaman finds himself out of work and stranded in a distant port. He shares a cheap room. They take turns sleeping, some in the morning, some at night. Grief! When he will go back to sea? And there! The scent of woman drifts up to seduce him! He realizes he had shared his bed with a lady of the night.

Hunt

Yannis, a lonely man, finds solace in hunting and jewelry-making. His neighbor, Elias, mistreats his dog, disturbing Yannis. After his mother's death, Yannis spirals, leading to an inevitable confrontation with Elias.
