A story about a young man named Masaya, whose lifelong dream is to go build a life in Tokyo. Masaya thinks his life in his hometown is uncool. A few years later, he manages to move to Tokyo but not without any consequences. In Tokyo, he learns the hard way about the meaning of life, survival, love, insecurities, desperation and hope. He also learns the struggles of living in a big city and trying to fix his relationship with his parents, especially his mom.

During the 2nd year of high school in the winter season, Yano transferred from Kushiro to Tokyo due to a family matter. Yano and Nanami promised to meet again. A chance comment by one of her friends causes her to aim for the job of a cabin attendant on an airline, which is completely out of character. Although she also feels the work is not up her alley, Yoko starts to prepare for the entrance examination with vigor, exhibiting her inborn never-say-die spirit and miraculously passing the examination. Naively assuming that she would immediately become a cabin attendant upon passing the test, Yoko of course has stiff training awaiting her.
