A story about an actor whose glory days are behind him. Konstanty Kurczek works as a prompter in a theater, and his only passion is Napoleon. Over time, his life seems to be getting better and better - he marries Ludwika, an extra, and they have a child, but one day he catches his wife in flagrante with Grywicz, and his whole world falls apart. The final straw is the fact that his wife's lover is to play Napoleon, and when asked to leave Jadwiga alone, he responds with laughter. Kurczek takes drastic measures.
White Venom
The film tells the story of Jan Kański, an industrialist addicted to cocaine. Drawn into addiction because of a beautiful woman, he turns away from his family and friends. He owes his rescue from the final fall to his daughter, who is looking for her father.
The Miracle at the Vistula
Eastern Borderlands, 1919. The Bolsheviks, taking part in the Polish-Russian war, appear at the Granowski manor house. It's a story based on the war of 1920, which ended with the Battle of Warsaw going down in history as the "Miracle on the Vistula". The film was commissioned by the Propaganda Department of the Ministry of Military Affairs and has survived only in fragments (just 53 minutes out of the 2-hour-long film).
Young Forest
In the beginning of the 20th century, Polish students are fully aware that the education system is not one in which the truth is taught, but rather one their government wants them to learn. A student contradicts his professor's stance that Suworow was one of Poland's greatest leaders. The argument between the two eventually leads to a wide strike.

The November Night
Grand Duke Konstanty marries Countess Joanna Grudzińska. However, Joanna still loves Major Łukasiński, and she agreed to the marriage out of a sense of patriotic duty. Łukasiński is arrested. The November Uprising breaks out. The conspirators capture Belweder Palace. Joanna hides Konstanty from them.
