Priests Ćira and Spira
"Priest Ćira and Priest Spira" is a Yugoslavian television mini-series from 1983 based on Stevan Sremac's story of the same name. It's a humorous adaptation directed by Soja Jovanović, who also made an earlier film version in 1957. The story revolves around the rivalry between two village priests when a young teacher is set to marry the daughter of only one of them.

Broad Are the Leaves
The action takes place in 1943 and today, and a Partisan school in Srem is in the center of action. A young journalist gets appointed to shoot a film report about the participants in the Liberation War from this area. In Srem village she meets common, simple people. She discovers that a free territory and a Partisan school was there. She also finds out that everybody acted as one. Deply going through all of those events, young reporter grows mature, identifying herself with the revolution participants.

Breakfast with the Devil

It is a sentimental story about the father-son relationship, reminiscent of a photo from an old family album, over which one feels some sort of deep nostalgia. The focus of the plot is a poetic story about a father who lives in the village and his son who visits him regularly.

The Mulberry Tree
Johan, a former Volksdeutscher, after thirty years after the end of the Second World War, comes back to the place where he was born and grew up, visits his birthplace where he finds Dane and Janja, the colonists who were assigned Johan’s house to. Johan recognizes the mulberry tree in the yard.

Everything That Was Nice
Old man Vidoje is a passionate bowler, has a dog and likes to hunt. However due to his declining health, his family starts depriving him of everything. In the end, Vidoje is left only with the TV, empty room and window to the street.
