Born and raised in New England, Steve attended Carnegie Mellon University's acting program in Pittsburgh briefly before graduating from The Juilliard School's Drama Division in New York. While in college, his short film "Samantha Moonley's Greatest Feeling" won the Centerpiece award at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) in 2016.
