Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician. He is the founder, guitarist, lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band Porcupine Tree, as well as being a member of several other bands, including Blackfield, Storm Corrosion and No-Man. He is also a solo artist, having released 6 solo albums since his solo debut Insurgentes in 2008. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Wilson has made music prolifically and earned critical acclaim. His honours include six nominations for Grammy Awards: twice with Porcupine Tree, once with his collaborative band Storm Corrosion and three times as a solo artist. In 2017 The Daily Telegraph described him as "a resolutely independent artist" and "probably the most successful British artist you've never heard of".

The Overview
A 42-minute audio-visual experience presented by world renowned musical polymath Steven Wilson, The Overview takes the listener on a Kubrickian journey into the endless darkness of outer space via a breathtakingly eclectic progressive rock opus. Longtime Wilson collaborator Miles Skarin's film presents a constantly evolving series of stunning visual sequences documenting the vastness of space and the almost imperceptibly tiny part of it that the human race occupies.
Porcupine Tree: Rockpalast 2005 - Live Music Hall Köln
With melodic progressive rock and socially critical lyrics, the British band Porcupine Tree also gained a large fan base in Germany at the turn of the millennium. In 2005, Rockpalast filmed them at their gig in Cologne's Live Music Hall. At their concert in Cologne, the band played a varied set of 15 songs, including their hit at the time, Lazarus.

Arriving Somewhere... is the first live performance DVD by British progressive rock band Porcupine Tree. A full show from the Deadwing tour filmed by "Studio M" with nine HD cameras at Park West, Chicago on 11 & 12 October 2005, edited by Lasse Hoile, with the soundtrack mixed in stereo and 5.1 surround sound by Steven Wilson, and mastered by Darcy Proper.
Porcupine Tree: Anesthetize: Live in Tilburg Oct. 2008
In 2009 Porcupine Tree released their latest album The Incident. The album marked another step forward in the incredible journey of the band from a solo studio project created by Steven Wilson in the late eighties to a Grammy nominated act and one of the world's most revered live bands, currently selling out arenas across the globe and wowing fans with their incredible performances. "Anesthetize" is a DVD which captures the power of the band's live show. Recorded on multi-cameras over two nights at 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland in October 2008, the concerts featured tracks from throughout the band's career. "Anesthetize" collects the highlights from the two shows. It is only the band's second ever DVD release.

Steven Wilson: Home Invasion - In Concert At The Royal Albert Hall
In March of 2018, Steven Wilson played a sell-out three night residency at one of the world's most iconic venues: London's Royal Albert Hall. Coming at the tail end of a lengthy European tour, these concerts were the crowning achievement of an incredible seven-month period that began with the release of Wilson's fifth album, To The Bone. This release is put together from footage filmed on the final night of that run. Multiple cameras from every conceivable angle in the auditorium and on the stage, and the audio has been specially mixed by Steven in both 5.1 surround and stereo.

Largely known throughout rock and metal circles, Wilson has seen four Grammy Awards; two with Porcupine Tree, one with his collaborative band Storm Corrosion and the fourth as a soloist. As well as co-founding the band Porcupine Tree, acting as its lead guitarist, singer and songwriter, Wilson has also been a member of several other bands in addition to his successful solo act. Notably he has also collaborated with other rock artists including Opeth, King Crimson, Pendulum, Anathema and Jethro Tull.
