Supriya Choudhury AKA Supriya Devi AKA Supriya Banerjee (1935-2018) was an Indian actress who is known for her work in Bengali cinema for more than 50 years. She is best known for her portrayal of exploited Neeta in Ritwik Ghatak's 1960 Bengali film Megha Dhaka Tara. She was conferred the Filmfare Award and the BFJA Award twice.

Madly Bangali
Madly Bangalee is a Bengali rock band that inspires the film’s title. They rehearse in a dowdy garage of Kolkata, owned by Bobby (Lew Hilt), who owns Bobby’s Garage. Four young boys with stardust in their eyes practise their numbers not knowing what they are really aiming at. But the garage is under threat from a South Kolkata don Baburam (Chandan Sen). One morning, an elderly man, San (Anjan Dutt), arrives from "America and Paris." Baaji, (Sumit) the drummer who is a Muslim had to drop out of school. He escapes from the trap of turning a terrorist like his older brother Sultan. He later becomes a police officer who bashes up everyone who tries to bribe him. Neon (Tanaji) plays the rhythm guitar but, sucked into the world of drugs, he disappears from the face of the earth with his guitar. Pablo, lead singer, bass guitarist and lyricist, leaves for the US and the group breaks up. Bobby dies.

Chowringhee

Although Sata Bose (played by Uttam Kumar) is the central character of the film, he is not the protagonist in many ways, rather the movie can be described as "hyperlink movie" made long ago than the term is coined.
Door Gagan Ki Chhaon Men
Shankar (Kishore Kumar) is employed in army and is visiting his village on leave. He is informed that he has lost his wife and father in an accidental fire. His child, Ramu, is unable to talk. Shankar sets off to city to get Ramu treated. Instead, he ends up in Meena's (Supriya Choudhury) house after a quarrel with Thakur leaves him wounded on the road. Meena begins to have feelings toward Shankar and Ramu. Thakur, on the other hand, has plans to get Meera married to his son. The only roadblocks for him are now Shankar and his son Ramu.
Sanyasi Raja
Zamindar Surya Kishore Chowdhury is a kind-hearted man who loves playing chess and is a fantastic singer. While he cares for his estate and the people, he is careless towards his wife, Indu's feelings. Dr. Bijoy Chakrabarty, who was helped by the zamindar during his student days, lives in his palace and one day, he successfully executes his plot to murder the zamindar while coercing Indu to keep quiet. However, fate takes a different turn and in the cremation grounds, a monk saves the life of the zamindar, who returns to his estate no more as an aristocratic noble but as a monk at heart.
