Veli lives in a village in Kayseri. He decides to run away from the village and go to Istanbul to avoid marrying the girl his father wants him to marry. On the way, he takes his army friend Nuri with him. In Istanbul, they spend their nights partying in different places with the money they happen to come across. However, their fun is constantly interrupted by the troubles they unintentionally get into, leaving them in a constant state of chaos.
Seven Husbands
'Yedi Kocalı', one of the films shot in the 1970s, which took Yeşilçam by storm, tells the story of a woman who marries seven different men due to financial difficulties and spends time with someone else every day of the week. Things get complicated when husbands realize they're not the only one over time. Ülkü Erakalın, who was known for his erotic films shot at that time, is in the director's seat of the film, and Zerrin Egeliler, who we also know with this genre, is in the leading role.
Two Ships Side by Side
After the release, Iki Gemi Yanyana (Two Ships Side by Side) stirred controversy over its treatment of lesbians, showing two women kissing each other on the lips (later, in Dul BirKadın (A Widow), director Atıf Yılmaz took up the same theme again). Gülizar
The film tells the story of two Black Sea families who arrange a marriage between their children. Hulusi and Atıf are the leaders of two families who were once enemies. Suat, who wants to save Gülizar's life, reluctantly agrees to marry Pervin. Suat, who sits at the wedding table with great sorrow, will be the happiest man in the world when he stands up from the table.
