After the brutal massacre by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas in Israel on October 7, 2023, the worst act of bloodshed against Jews since World War II, anti-Semitism has reached a new qualitative dimension worldwide, including in Germany: arson attacks on synagogues, Star of David markings on front doors, graffiti on Holocaust memorials, well-attended demonstrations with anti-Israel slogans and shouts of "get out of here" at German universities by supposedly left-wing extremists, whose blatant threatening gestures and threats of annihilation are more reminiscent of the views of their Nazi grandfathers. The documentary film has followed four German Jews in their fight against hatred over the last three months since the massacre and lets them report on their experiences.

Former colleagues believe that the chairman of the AfD Thuringia lives in the belief that something great is destined for him. On September 1, 2024, Björn Höcke won the state election in Thuringia for the first time, where he wants to become Prime Minister. Previously, Björn Höcke was twice fined for using a slogan from the Third Reich. The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution classifies the AfD Thuringia regional association he leads as proven right-wing extremist. In a book, he made his radical restructuring plans for Germany public. But who is Björn Höcke actually? Where does his attitude, his view of Germany, his worldview come from? Which ideological masterminds are behind the figurehead Höcke? Is he being controlled or is he controlling the AfD? And: What can we expect from him in the future?
The Hamas System
The attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 changed the world. The documentary examines how a terrorist organization could become the strongest political force in the Gaza Strip. What are its goals and how could Hamas grow into a company with an annual turnover of several hundred million dollars? Terrorism researchers, ethnologists and contemporary witnesses analyze the history and present of Hamas, whose main goal is the destruction of the State of Israel. Documents show how children are manipulated with anti-Western and anti-Israeli propaganda through television programs and in school lessons. Images show how minors are trained to be terrorists in Hamas summer camps. In interviews, experts report how the ideology of the Hamas movement is also spilling over into Europe and bringing with it a whole new dimension of anti-Semitism.
