I'm Glad I Did

Metin Akpınar has not been on the theater stage since 1992. In addition to TV series and movies, new generations were able to meet him with Devekuşu Kabare's six plays that could be recorded. As if it was written today, those who watched had a taste of his unique acting in current plays. It was an acting that accompanied his talent and his intellectual background. "I'm Glad I Did", when transferring through the years Metin Akpinar he brought his own narrative, on the other hand, offers a different approach to Turkey's recent history, leaving an archive for the future by refreshing memory.

APP

A software company develops a security app to help women living alone feel more secure. A shadow man, which can be projected on the walls and window of the house for twenty-four hours, makes it seem like there is a young man who can move around the house, doing various activities and talking. Mine is a thirty-five-year-old young woman dependent on her mother.

Selamsız's Band

Selamsiz (wich means 'no greeting') is a small town in Anatolia. The town has a lot of problems but noone from governments come and see the town. One day the mayor learns that the prime minister will come to the city. They, now, have a chance to solve their problems. However, they think that they should have a band to greet the prime minister.

7 Faces

Featuring seven different yet intertwined stories of modern life in Istanbul, 7 Faces is a thought-provoking drama centering on seven characters living in the same city apartment building. Each of them faces a major change in their lives, which requires them to confront their biggest fear or weakness.

Times and Winds

In a small, poor village leaning over high rocky mountains, the villagers are simple and diligent people who struggle to cope with a harsh nature. They earn their living off the earth and a few animals they feed. Fathers always prefer one of their sons. Mothers command their daughters ruthlessly. Ömer, the son of the imam, wishes hopelessly for the death of his father. When he understands that wishful thinking does not have any concrete results, he begins to search for childish ways to kill his father. Yakup is in love with his teacher, and one day after seeing his father spying on the teacher he dreams too, like Ömer, of killing his father. Yıldız studies and tries to manage the household chores imposed by her mother. She learns with irritation about the secrets of the relationship between men and women.

Kavur

The Agency
