Tropenjaren

Tropenjaren is a comedy about the whirlwind of new parenthood and a former life that’s gone for good. When Jelle and his wife Rosa welcome their first child, a new chapter unfolds. The young parents strive to do their best for their daughter Stella while also trying to keep their work lives and relationship as lively and ambitious as ever. Nights out and parties, however, quickly give way to diapers and babysitters. In short, the couple is gearing up for the tropenjaren—the intense early years of parenting.

To inform each personally about her impending death, Mies summons her three daughters home. The three half-sisters April, May and June, each of whom has a different father, start to question their lives: "Where are we at in life? What do we still have in common? Bodem

The Hunt

Inspired by a true crime that gripped a whole nation for more than a decade. In the spring of 1999, the body of a 16-year-old girl was found on the outskirts of a small village in The Netherlands, next to an asylum seekers' center. ‘The Hunt’ depicts how the long and frustrating search for the perpetrator confronted the inhabitants and asylum seekers of this little Dutch town with xenophobia, racism, and bizarre and persistent conspiracy theories, fueled by social media. The crime remained unsolved for more than 12 years, until an unprecedented use of a large-scale DNA investigation finally solved the case.

The Ring

A new comic drama in which events and characters which are just slightly larger-than-life and wants to put the viewer think about current social issues such as the debate on Islam, digitization and the way media reports about it. The series is a collaboration with theater Mugmetdegoudentand.
