Struggle for Life
The struggle for existence is about the linguist Tomasz Novak (28) traveling from Warsaw to Norway to collect what he believes is a quick buck from a father he has never met. His project is proving to take time and along the way he becomes ever more integrated in the Norwegian society, represented by a privileged and well-meaning group of citizens, which in turn gives us a picture of the current Norwegian life.

Emma is a working-class 25-year-old who discovers she's actually the daughter of a Norwegian shipping magnate. In the near future a new phenomenon starts happening all over the world with powerful flashes of light occurring in the ocean and people from the past mysteriously reappearing. A couple of years later, Alfhildr – who comes from the Viking Age – has to partner up with a burned-out police officer, Lars Haaland, to investigate the murder of a beforeigner. The pair begins to unravel a larger conspiracy behind the origin of the mysterious mass arrivals.
