In the story that begins in a suburb of Istanbul, the events between Kenan Cesur, who shouldered the burden of a momentary mistake, and Zeynep proceed with an adventure full of ambition, passion and regret. Akide Beykoz lives with her youngest son Ercan in one of the neighborhoods near the coast. Although Akide has two other sons, Maksut and Fikret, all her energy is focused on her youngest son. Maksut and Fikret are angry with her because they married girls they found themselves, not the ones their mother chose. She dislikes her daughters-in-law, Saadet and Aysel, and the negative experiences she has had with them lead her to a new idea: Akide vows to marry her youngest son, Ercan, to a girl she finds herself. However, Ercan has already proposed to Duygu, the nurse recently assigned to the Beykoz Central Health Center. Duygu, who was raised without a mother, places great importance on family relationships and says she will not marry Ercan without her mother's consent.
