Zoë then seeks out her own adventures with the local children, which she, in turn, keeps hidden from her father. The more father and daughter try to connect by keeping up appearances, the more they drift apart. When chaos and danger reach a peak, they need each other not only to save their bond but also, quite literally, each other's lives. Vince and Zoë turn out to be more alike than they thought.
