Velimir 'Bata' Živojinović was a Serbian stage and film actor. After he graduated from acting schools in Užice and Novi Sad, he enrolled at the Drama Academy in Belgrade.

A Weekend of Deceased Persons
Very black and grotesque comedy about the little office-worker Tase and his death wife Kata. She died in hospital in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, but the nurses mixed her body with someone else. Then he must make exchange of bodies with Klime, the banker. But Tase lives in Prilep and Klime lives even in Ohrid. Then it becomes tragicomedy!

Grey Home
A moving story about the residents of correctional facility, rejected by parents and environment. Going through a strict regimen of life in the home, they are constantly trying to reverse the fate in their favor. Although they were given a chance to change, their actions always return to the beginning. Constantly on the border between personal whims and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become humans, they remain as wolves who find hard to change their mood. What finally remains is a perpetual dilemma whether their fate is innate, or is it forced by the communities in which they grew up...

The Written Off Return
Prle and Tihi, being the only surviving members of their resistance group, had been forced to leave Nazi-occupied Belgrade and join Partisans in country. In Summer of 1944 somebody is assassinating resistance sympathizers, and Prle and Tihi must return to Belgrade deal with it. In order to cross through enemy lines, they use cars, clothes and documents of captured pro-Nazi minister. During their journey the minister escapes and warns the Gestapo.

Life Is Beautiful
After a train breaks down and the passengers are forced to spend a day at a remote country tavern, the mix of seasonal farm workers, transients, musicians, and would-be party kingpins heads toward some explosive moments. A truckload of chickens arrive to be killed and cooked for the unruly group of passengers, and when a few boorish men harass a female singer, their actions lead to unexpected violence.

The Birch Tree
A beautiful but ailing girl is married to a harsh man who doesn't care for her. Only after she dies does he realize that he actually loves her.
