The Bridge

The Killing
The Killing is a Danish police procedural set in the Copenhagen main police department and revolves around Detective Inspector Sarah Lund and her team, with each season series following a different murder case day-by-day and a one-hour episode covering twenty-four hours of the investigation. The series is noted for its plot twists, season-long storylines, dark tone and for giving equal emphasis to the story of the murdered victim's family alongside the police investigation. It has also been singled out for the photography of its Danish setting, and for the acting ability of its cast.

Facing the Truth
A man grows up in very modest circumstances in the early years of the 20th century, but his diligence, intelligence and willingness to endure hardship helps him to become a leading brain surgeon. Those Who Kill
Based on an original idea by best-selling Danish novelist Elsebeth Egholm, the series follows the inquiries of a special unit at Copenhagen's police force, consisting of detective inspector Katrina Ries Jensen and forensic psychiatrist Thomas Schaeffer. The pair specialise in serial killers that do not fit within traditional behavioural patterns.

Taxa
TAXA is a Danish television drama made by Danmarks Radio with 56 episodes, written by Stig Thorsboe and produced by Rumble Hammerich. The series revolves around a small taxi central, CrownTaxi, in Copenhagen. The series was a success from the start, 14 September 1997 on DR1. The series was broadcast during the period 1997-1999 for a total of five series. CrownTaxi has its ups and downs and in the course of the series, following the various drivers, radio opertor Lizzie and boss Verner Boye-Larsen. They have all their problems both with clients and family life and constantly threaten the show's villain Hermann from the competing taxi firm, City Car, which wants to take over the CrownTaxi. TAXA was also screened in Sweden on SVT1.

When the Sun Shines
Sofus, a young terminally ill cancer patient is enrolled in a hospice feeling ready to die. Shortly after arriving, he meets Sarah a charming young hospice worker. Sarah's impulsiveness and interesting approach to life intrigues him. However, Sarah hides a dark past, her father died of cancer and never gave her the chance to say goodbye. Sarah and Sofus spends a day together and Sarah shows Sofus a glimpse of the life he has never lived. On what seems to be the peak of their happiness together Sofus relapses and has an epileptic seizure which causes Sarah to shut Sofus out of her life afraid of losing him as she lost her dad. Sofus comfort in dying is now replaced with a fear of missing out on the life that he never knew he missed. Sofus realizes than in order to regain comfort in his remaining days, he has to understand the life and youth he has never experienced and have Sarah forgive her dead farther in order to start a new life.

Superbror
"Superbrother" tells the story of Anton, a 10 year old boy desperate for, he says, an older and true brother as Buller, his brother, is autistic. Always distracted looking at the sky, Anton receives an unexpected visit from some stranger who comes from space and Buller becomes a superhero. Unfortunately, these powers do not last forever. Will they be able to learn to use them?
