Christian is a nice man climbing the career ladder. His brother Mikael, on the other hand, is a petty criminal who hustles his way through life as best he can. When Mikael dies, Christian feels responsible and, in order to get to know his deceased brother better, he seeks out the underworld Mikael belonged to. He should never have done that.

The House at Christianshavn
The series follows the residents of an apartment building on Copenhagen's Christianshavn, as they go about their daily lives and challenges. There is Olsen, a mover with an old fashion view of the world, Clausen who runs the local pet shop, Egon the career focused assistant, their wives who work hard to keep their spouses lives together, the young couple Tue and Rikke who recently moved in, the hard working caretaker Meyer, who never puts in to much effort, and of course Emma, the innkeeper of Rottehullet, where all the important decisions are made while running up the bar tab. The series was produced by Nordisk Film for Danmarks Radio TV station between the years 1970-77. The series' first director was Ebbe Langberg, then Erik Balling and Tom Hedegaard respectively. The series was conceived by an author team of well-known Danish authors such Leif Panduro, Benny Andersen, and Lise Nørgaard.

Jensen længe leve!
A prisoner who has just escaped from prison finds the body of Jensens, a marshal, in Jensens' shop. Fearing that he will be suspected of murder, he moves the body in a trunk to a forest, where it is to be hidden. On the way, he loses the trunk from his cart and Jensen from the trunk. Immediately afterwards, another gentleman runs over the body, hides it in the back of his cart, wants to bury it, etc.

The Olsen Gang in Jutland
The Olsen gang in Jutland. Ones again Egon Olsen has a plan when he gets out of Vridslose State Prison. He has found out that the Germans left a large sum of money (in American dollars and gold bars) in one of their commando bunkers, when they were defeated in 1945; the only problem it's in Jutland. Egon, Benny and Kjeld "appropriate" a car and drives to Jutland along with Kjelds wife and child Yvonne and Borge. They look forward to fooling the the people in Jutland, but of course, things don't go quite as planed. It ends with Benny, Kjeld, Borge and Yvonne sitting in the train back to Copenhagen, were they are overtaken by Egon in his car on the road next to the track. This is the last time the Olsen gang goes to Jutland.

The Olsen Gang Never Surrenders
Egon plans to exploit knowledge gained during his latest term of incarceration. By stealing the unmanipulated financial records of DanInvest he obtains the majority of the stocks in the department store Magasin du Nord, just in time for their closing sale. The attempt to get the red suitcase that will save the day they rob the main vault at the EEC headquarters in Brussels and end up hijacking a tank.

In inner Copenhagen, in the real old town, in greengrocer Mortensen's property right under Tagskægget, live three good friends: painter Richard Hansen, painter Steffen, sculptor Max, and their friend Louise Mørch. All three have something very boring in common: they are unknown and penniless. Suddenly, it seems that luck is smiling on them. Charlottenborg has accepted the painting that Richard submitted. Excited, he heads to the exhibition, only to discover that the selection committee has accepted the two packing box lids he used to protect his painting, lids that he uses every day to wipe his brushes on.
