Biography
Yao Wen Long came into prominence after participating in “Star Search 1993”. He won the Most Popular Newcomer Award in “Star Awards 1994”. He is a talented artiste who has starred in a multitude of diverse and challenging roles, he is also often nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category in the annual Star Awards, and winning the trophy in 2001 for his most memorable role as an effeminate hairstylist in “Looking For Stars”. To date, Wen Long has played many memorable and iconic roles on television including the award-winning blockbuster serial “The Little Nyonya” where he convincingly portrayed a simple-minded butcher. His recent dramas include “Dear Neighbours", “All Around You” and “A Quest To Heal”.

A Song to Remember
A Song to Remember is a MediaCorp Channel 8 historical-cum-musical drama which is set in the 1930s to 1940s in early Singapore before World War II. It debuted on Channel 8 on 22 November 2011 and was telecast every weekday night at 9.00 pm. This drama stars Qi Yuwu and Joanne Peh who had paired up thrice after The Little Nyonya and C.L.I.F., and Eelyn Kok, Julie Tan and Desmond Tan. Chen Hanwei plays a villain in this drama while Eelyn Kok is also another antagonist. Viewers can catch episodes on xinmsn catchup from 23 November 2011. It was reported that the scriptwriter Ang Ee Tee took several years to complete the script of this drama. Despite large amounts of resources and money pumped in for the production and promotion of this serial, the drama was not well received by the audience when it was broadcast. Many perceived the show to be boring and slow-paced, and the acting skills of some of the main cast members were heavily criticised.

House of Fortune
Qian Renjie and Luo Shuping decide to sell their HDB flat and upgrade into a condominium. However, the upgrade comes with a hefty price, leaving the couple with no savings. The property prices in Singapore are at an all-time high, many home-owners were made millionaires because of collective sales to rich developers. But not all are swayed by the easy money - Mei Hao Yuan is a timeworn condominium that holds many fond memories for its residences. A semi-retired old doctor who offers both medical and emotional advices to his neighbours, making him the pseudo "village head" of the condominium wants things to stay that way. An elderly couple does not want to sell their apartment because they hope to pass it on to their struggling son, for the fear that he may never be able to afford one himself in the most expensive city in the world. A devoted husband is trying to protect the home he shared with his wife in a bid to win back her love. Together they will go head-on with the rich developers and the majority of the residences who are eager to make a quick buck. But can they really protect their beautiful homes from falling prey to economic gains?
