Biography
Egyptian actor, director and author, began his education in the city of Fayoum traveled to Italy after the First World War, where he studied acting and studied at the hands of the Italian actor Cantoni, to return to Egypt and worked in Hassan Fayek’s Theater, and then founded his own theater and Ramses Film Production Company, and participated in the establishment of Nahas studios and took over the management of the Studio, In the cinema, he wrote and directed his film scenarios. He received many awards in Egypt and many honors such as the Grand Order of the Cisé from the King of Morocco. He received an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Arts. He married and did not have children.

The Farewell Song
Documentary tribute to the Egyptian singer Abdel Halim Hafez produced in 1977 consisting of archive images of the singer during his visit to Paris in September 1974, joined by fictional scenes which take the form of a journalistic investigation. A little-known film in the filmography of Ahmed Rachedi who during this Parisian period will direct another feature film that we would very much like to see again: "A Finger in the Gear" (1973), on a screenplay by Rachid Boudjedra. The credits and some images of "La chanson de l'Adieu", released in France in December 1981 in the famous Luxor hall in Paris where more than 5,000 spectators came to see it.
My Story With Time
Singer Suhair marries Salah, the well-known owner of the contracting company, and forces her to leave the band. She has a son with him, then discovers that his works are done illegally and leaves him, and he in turn deprives her of seeing her son. A love affair develops between her and Hosni, the band's new director, but Salah comes to her again and promises her integrity. Suhair hesitates to choose.

Laila treats Hamam like a friend and helps him to appreciate life and enjoy its qualities,and the man soon is drawn to her.
Life or Death
A man suffers from a heart attack so he sends his daughter to get medicine for him. After providing the medicine for the girl, the pharmacist discovers that he has unknowingly mixed a poisonous elixir. Reporting what happened to the police, the chief officer of Cairo starts an intriguing, full-fledged campaign to save the man before he takes the lethal medicine.
Ambassador of Hell
The devil appears to a poor family, incarnated in a wealthy man who offers them a large fortune. The life of excess spoils the family and breaks up their relationships. Eventually, the devil appears again, this time with the will to drag the family to hell.
