The Village Teacher
The protagonist is a young man, a former athlete, now a gym teacher. He is essentially a disappointed idealist who distances himself from the world and himself with irony and self-irony. His indifferent attitude towards life undergoes a slight change when he meets the headmistress of the rural school where he also teaches.

A Summer in a Sea Shell 2
Three years later, Tomaz meets Milena in Ljubljana where she practices dancing. In order to spend more time with her, Tomaz enrolls at the dance club where he finds many new friends. As the club is faced with close-down, the members decide to save it by setting up a dance show for the urban elite.

A story set in a Slovenian village during Italian occupation. Stefuc, a man who has been widowed twice and has four daughters, wants to get married for the third time with Zana, who's already engaged and pregnant with Ludvik. Stefuc tries to separate them away, but realizes that he'll have to marry Hedvika, a nice looking girl who has just returned from Milan. In the meantime, Italian fascist authorities decide to eradicate five Slovenian songs with the help of local traitors.

A partisan hero finds out that he lost her fiancee, but somewhat cheers up when his white horse comes back to him...
