22-year old Kawano Ayu was brought up way out in the country. She's a rough-mannered tomboy. When she meets Tetsu, a divorced beautician, the two fall in love and get married. Immediately after their happy new life begins, they are visited by a 5-year old boy, Yuki, who claims to be Tetsu's son. Ayu reluctantly becomes the boy's mother, but has no idea how to raise a child. What's more, at kindergarten, she must confront the elegant mothers of the neighborhood. Ayu's humorous life as a rookie mother begins.

1. Why the hell do I have to be his mother!?

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) had just married stylist Kawano Tetsu (Oizumi Yo), twelve years her senior. With Tetsu's new shop just opening, they were ready begin a new, happy life, when one day, Tetsu's son from his previous marriage shows up.

2. Charge!! Debut battle of the kindergarten mothers!

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) takes Kawano Tetsu's (Oizumi Yo) son, Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) to preschool by bike. There, she meets Hojo Midori (Tomosaka Rie), Hanawa Noriko (Katase Nana), Kominami Yae (Yamaguchi Sayaka) and various other peculiar school moms -- but they turn a cold shoulder.

3. The father strikes!! On the verge of expulsion from kindergarten

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya), her husband Tetsu (Oizumi Yo), and his son Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) are approached by Ayu's father, Yoshida Goro (Owada Shinya), who makes himself at home at their place.

4. I saw it!! The lie within the circle of kindergarten mothers

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) and her husband, Tetsu (Oizumi Yo), were upset about the lack of business at their hair studio. Meanwhile, one of the preschool moms, Kominami Yae (Yamaguchi Sayaka) lands a photo shoot for a fashion magazine, and the other moms become jealous.

5. Shock! The real mother's secret

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) overhears her husband, Tetsu (Oizumi Yo) talking to his ex-wife, Keiko (Konno Mahiru). Tetsu seems upset, especially because she came unannounced, but Keiko shows no sign of shame in having abandoned her their child, Yuki (Shibuya Takeru).

6. First love!! Top-secret

Ayu (Ueto Aya) and Tetsu (Oizumi Yo) decide not to drop his son, Yuki (Shibuya TakerU), out of Sakurambo Preschool, enraging Hojo Midoriko (Tomosaka Rie) and Hanawa Noriko (Katase Nana).

7. My son's a genius!? Joining the entrance exam battle

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) and her husband, Tetsu (Oizumi Yo), are shocked when his son, Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) suddenly speaks of wanting to take entrance exams for elementary school. Tetsu insists that he goes to a local public school, but Yuki wants to go to school with his crush, Uematsu Riko (Koide Chisaka).

8. Pain in the ass! The man who just can't get the picture

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya) and her husband, Tetsu (Oizumi Yo) were working on the morning Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) suddenly tells them that he doesn't want to take exams. Hojo Hajime (Azuma Mikihisa) shows up, demanding that Tetsu explain why he wasn't at the exams.

9. The tables are turned!! A stormy Christmas party

As Christmas draws near, Ayu (Ueto Aya) and Tetsu (Oizumi Yo) try to make Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) say what it is that he wants from Santa, but he won't fess up. Tetsu injures himself, and Ayu is placed in a position to work in his stead.

10. A teary-eyed graduation ceremony... We love you, Yuki

Kawano Ayu (Ueto Aya), Tetsu (Oizumi Yo), and Yuki (Shibuya Takeru) are shocked when they find out that the name Iwasaki Keiko appears on the list of passengers aboard a downed plane from Dubai.
