Seasons
A head-student election campaign turns personal when Guang falls for Chang, the quiet guitarist who makes him feel seen for the first time.

1. Episode 1
Today marks Ye Guang's 17th birthday. Apart from being showered with endless gifts and wishes from his fans and admirers, Ye is also greeted to a special performance and an unexpected confession by one of the school's most popular girls. Elsewhere, in an unexpected turn of events, Xu Qi Zhang, who somehow happens to know Ye from the past, also finds himself in the confession team. In the evening, when both his parents and his best friend, Ray, are not available to celebrate his birthday with him, a lonely Ye decides to head out on his own and accidentally bumps into Xu in front of a convenience store. The two, then, decide to hang out together.

2. Episode 2
The night marks the beginning of a revived interest between Ye Guang and Xu Qi Zhang. Ye, who's always admired Xu's warmth and kindness, is left surprised upon learning of Xu's identity as the lead singer of the school's rock band. Meanwhile, even though Ray is repeatedly rejected by his boyfriend time and again, he is nevertheless still reluctant to give up on their relationship believing that there's still a chance for them. And it is not until this one final date that he's left completely heartbroken and shattered, only to be witnessed by the cafe's clerk, Jian the whole time.

3. Episode 3
When Xu Qi Zhang learns that being elected president of the student body will make him eligible for a scholarship to study abroad at the music academy of his choice, he feels very hesitant as it will directly put him head-to-head with Ye Guang, who is also seen to be applying for the very position... One night, as he's headed out to return the pants he borrowed from Xu Qi Zhang, Ye Guang arrives at Xu's noodle store, only to encounter Xu Qi Zhang's uncle smashing up the store!

4. Episode 4
Ye Guang inadvertently finds a very familiar umbrella in Xu Qi Zhang's room. While he doesn't remember the rainy night, it was Ye Guang who gave Xu Qi Zhang the umbrella. One day, Xu Qi Zhang invites Ye Guang to practice with the band together, and the members finally get a chance to meet the boy Xu Qi Zhang often mentions. Meanwhile, in order to make Ray forget his boyfriend, Jian takes him to the night market, with this being the first time that the two spend time alone.

5. Episode 5
Upon spending time and getting to know one another, Ray and Jian gradually develop feelings for each other and on their way home, the two love birds can't help but share a kiss. But just when everything seems to be going perfectly, the very next moment, Jian pushes Ray away thereby causing a sudden misunderstanding between the two. Meanwhile, Ye Guang starts to look for Xu Qi Zhang for dinner after school, and their time with each other is no longer spent simply on tutoring and studying together. Eventually, all of this is seen as an act of rebellion in the eyes of Ye Guang's parents, which gradually results in their family relationship becoming increasingly tense.

6. Episode 6
With Ray not responding to any of Jian’s calls and texts, Jian has no choice but to ask Xu Qi Zhang to help him relay his sincerity and gratitude to Ray. Elsewhere, an increasingly flustered Ye Guang leaves home in anger because of his parent’s enhanced disciplinary pressure on him. Ye Guang wants to talk to Xu Qi Zhang about his situation, but when the two meet, they get into a verbal argument as a result of their differing ideas, and in a fit of rage, Ye Guang ends up saying some rather harsh words to Xu Qi Zhang.

7. Episode 7
With the immense amount of pressure that Ye Guang's parents are putting on him, Ye Guang gradually finds himself running away from home only to find solace in the arms of Xu Qi Zhang who has gone on to become his safe haven, for only with Xu Qi Zhang can Ye Guang truly be himself. Meanwhile, Xu Qi Zhang, upon being pushed and pressured by Jian time and again, finally decides to confess his feelings to Ye Guang. But, one night, as Xu Qi Zhang is taking Ye Guang back home on his bicycle, Ye Guang's mother suddenly captures a glimpse of the two.

8. Episode 8
After going through a whirlwind of a family storm, Ye Guang is all set to face the final school examinations. However, at his most critical moment, Ye Guang decides to muster up the courage to express his inner thoughts to his parents. In the meantime, as the school's most important performance approaches, it is revealed the music group is temporarily unable to perform, thereby causing Ye Guang to seek assistance from Xu Qi Zhang to resolve a crisis they never saw coming.

Reviews
Dominic Kebre
This is what a good high school BL series should be like – it shows in a very sensitive and loving way the coming of age and coming out of 4 young men, with all the smaller and bigger disasters people at that age have to face.
Directed by the same director as ”Make Our Days Count”, it avoids most of the annoying tropes of the genre, and all the four leads (Shen Jyun as Xu Qi Zhang, Li Zhen as Ye Guang, Andy Huang as Jian, and my very extra special Hsu Shuo as Ray Ray, who looks great as a crossdresser) are talented actors and super cute.
The OST is the best of any BL series of 2022. I have watched this series 4 times already, and I'll watch it again.
You've reached the end.
