The village is raided by militant men, but Al Aghar lures them into the forest. In an attempt to deceive his enemies back in Egypt, Al Aghar fakes his own death.
3. Episode 3
Al Saadawi scolds Mida for his actions against Al Aghar. Gameela is accused of theft. Love blooms between Nahla and Al Aghar.
4. Episode 4
Al Saadawi keeps a secret that could alter his relationship with Al Aghar. Hashem begs Imad and Gameela to forgive him. Al Aghar offers Adham a partnership.
5. Episode 5
Gameela starts a new job. Aiming to marry Nahla, Mida blackmails her father. Yasmeen visits Al Aghar’s town.
6. Episode 6
A’sran gives Al Saadawi an ultimatum: either he works with him or closes his business. Nahla refuses to marry Mida. Al Aghar leaves Adham no choice but to pay more money.

Al Aghar puts an end to Mida’s blackmailing after Anoosh tells him the truth. Adham stands up to A’sran’s threats. Al Saadawi fights with his ex-wife.

Imad and Gameela search for a place to stay. A’sran gives Mida a task. Al Aghar’s visit to Africa does not go as planned.

Al Leeni and Mida complete their task, unaware that they’re being watched. The villagers doubt Al Aghar and Al Weeshy’s loyalty.

Shereef scolds A’sran for his actions and ends his partnership with him. Mida asks Al Saadawi for forgiveness, while Al Aghar returns with new plans.

Reaching a point of no return, Al Saadawi confronts Al Aghar with the long-awaited truth. Now, Al Aghar must avenge young Youssef.

Al Aghar captures Mida who tries to turn him against Al Leeni. Yasmeen asks her father to maintain his partnership with Al Aghar, who is planning his next step with A’sran.

Hashem asks Shereef for a job. Noula attempts to get the key to Al Saadawi’s shop. Al Aghar brokers a new deal with Adham.

In a heated confrontation between Noula and Nahla, the latter discovers her father’s secret. Hashem devises a plan to gain Shereef’s trust.

Struggling to adapt to life in Kenya, Mida asks to return home. Chaos fills the street when Noula takes charge of Al Saadawi’s shop. Al Aghar begins mining for a new gemstone.

Gameela and Imad launch their new business without a license. Noula seeks A’sran’s help in managing the shop. Mida comes down with a dangerous fever.

After all his companions lost hope in finding the gemstone, Al Aghar put his life on the line for one last attempt. Anoush falls ill.

The tribe bids farewell to Al Aghar and Mida who are returning to Egypt. Aiming to start anew, Mida makes a brave decision regarding Noula.

Al Aghar returns to town to find Nahla and her father gone. Later, he confronts Noula about her affiliation to A’sran.

The telenovela is a remake of the Venezuelan telenovela La Dueña, written by José Ignacio Cabrujas. The name reflects a local term or slang in Mexico to address a person recognized as the main boss. However, the title is also a reflection of both the protagonist and the antagonist struggle to conquer power, authority and respect in a labor field traditionally deemed to be a man's job.
