Brilliant student Keisuke Otori attends an academy with a strict policy against romance. One day, he meets a high school girl named Hanako Takada.
2. Episode 2
Otori's date with Hanako doesn’t go as well as he planned. Meanwhile, the school disciplinary committee attempts to catch Otori breaking the rules.
3. Episode 3
Otori attends a grueling study camp at his school, but he can't get Hanako out of his mind. He notices that his classmate Shishimaru seems anxious.
4. Episode 4
Otori asks Hanako about the boy he saw her with and learns a devastating truth. Later, he receives a remarkably terrible grade on his midterm exam.
5. Episode 5
In the struggle over Hanako, Kujirai challenges Otori to a judo match. Otori's friends beg Toramatsu — whose family runs a dojo — to train him.
6. Episode 6
After the principal orders a crackdown on romantic thought, a band of freedom-minded students rises up in revolt and brings Otori back to its base.
7. Episode 7
Having arrived at Kaimei Academy, Hanako has some harsh words for Otori. Later, at a general student meeting, Otori makes a surprising statement.
8. Episode 8
After his name is erased from Kaimei Academy's records, a despondent Otori has an unexpected encounter. The school prepares for its cultural festival.

Who Is the Sender?
Kuwazuru Mitsuki is a second year student at Arakawa Nishi High School. One day, her homeroom teacher, Tachibana, suddenly announces the start of the "Letter Game", where every student has to write a letter with his/her true feelings to each of the classmates. However, the "letter" will not include the sender's name. At first, there were a lot of bad jokes and silly "letters", but they slowly accelerate to revealing secrets and confessions, which make everyone question, "Who is the sender?" and "Who will be named next?" This game allows the students to become more aware of each other's hidden worries and thoughts, which slowly deepens the bond among the classmates. Meanwhile, Mitsuki tries to search for the sender of the letter sent to her and she discovers a secret hidden in this "letter game".

Robotics expert Dr. Otoi built Signal to be a powerful companion for his young grandson, Nobuhiko. However, a mishap during Signal's programming led to an unexpected glitch. Despite this little problem, days are usually happy and fun around the Otoi household, where robots, people and animals live in harmony. Except for the occasional feud over house cleaning chores or the affections of the female robot Elara. everything is relatively peaceful. However, one day Signal is attacked by Pulse, one the Doctor's previous creations and the prototype for Signal. Despite being critically nearsighted, Pulse is loaded down with weapons and has been reprogrammed by Dr. Otoi's mysterious rival. He's on a mission to steal the most recent robot technology, and obliterate anything that gets in his way.

Hyunhaetan Marriage War
Hyunhaetan Marriage War is co-production between South Korea and Japan. Dae-cheon and Takako are lovers who decide to get married. However, Dae-cheon's father, who is a fishing boat captain, dislikes the Japanese while Takako's father has an unfavorable opinion of Korea. So Dae-cheon teaches Takako how to talk in a heavy, folksy Korean accent and tells her to limit what she says to his father to only four words. He then introduces Takako to his father under the name "Choi Do-ja", which is a girl's name in Korea. Thinking that Takako is Korean, his father approves of their marriage. But later on, Dae-cheon's father learns that Takako is Japanese and becomes infuriated.
