From coast to coast, thousands of hopefuls gather to get the chance to compete for the crown of the sexiest man or woman in America. Talent, personality and strategy were not required, just physical beauty and innate sexiness. They'll be judged by a celebrity panel and, at the end of each episode, viewers are invited to vote for their favorite male and female hotties until one breathtaking man and one stunning woman are crowned "The Sexiest People in America."

1. Hot Zone 1 - Northeast

The 32 hottest men and women from Zone 1 get the chance to strut their stuff before three judges, supermodel Rachel Hunter, designer Randolph Duke and international action star Lorenzo Lamas--and the television viewing public.

2. Hot Zone 2 - Southeast

It's the Southeast's turn to show off their hottest people as another 32 people face a tough challenge--including the swimsuit competition--to see who is the hottest person in America.

3. Hot Zone 3 - Northwest

The competition heats up as the 32 sexiest men and women in the American Northwest strut their stuff before three celebrity judges--and a viewing audience of millions.

4. Hot Zone 4 - Southwest

Everyone knows the United States' Southwest is hot. Now, after learning the semifinalists from Zone 3, see the 32 hottest men and women in the Southwest. The judges will be brutally honest in the swimsuit competition, then viewers will decide who's hot or not.

5. Episode 5

It's down to the hottest four people from each of the four Hot Zones of the United States. By the end of this hour, the list of contenders will be whittled from 16 to 4, one of whom is the Hottest man or woman in America.
