Boris
Boris is an Italian television series created by Luca Manzi and Carlo Mazzotta, initially produced from 2007 to 2010, with a revival season premiered in 2022. The show brings to the stage the behind the scenes of a television set where a troupe is shooting Gli occhi del cuore 2 (The eyes of the heart 2), a satirical portrait of the many fictions airing on the Italian TV networks.
Seasons

1. My first day
An aspiring director arrives on set for his first day and is faced with staffing issues, creative disagreements, and self-centered actors.

2. The Count's ring
Sergio forces Alessandro to sign documents that strip him of all his rights, and the excellent performance of a stage actor casts the cast in a bad light.

3. The climber of the Andes
One of the actors in the cast looks nothing like the photograph released by his agency and a Peruvian boy tries to sneak in among the extras.

4. Quality or death
To impress a director friend, René shoots the day's scenes with a steadycam, meanwhile Biascica asks Alessandro for advice on love matters.

5. A+B=C
The network hopes to boost ratings with a new character's raunchy jokes, just when Corinna may be forced to leave the series.

6. Like Lars von Trier
While a fan visit creates tension on the set, René directs Stanis and Corinna in an awkward nude scene.

7. When a man feels the end
During some night scenes, the cast ended up getting drunk on the limoncello sent by the network director, causing several problems during filming.

8. Merry Christmas
Alfredo replaces René, who is struggling with gastric problems, while Stanis' father takes advantage of his son's fame to get a part.

9. A matter of principle
To appease the pro-Catholic press, René has to reshoot a scene featuring an abortion, while Duccio discovers that someone has taken the money from his jacket.

10. The jeweler
While filming is interrupted due to Corinna, Davide is worried about the low turnout of journalists at the press conference.

11. Exit strategy
After the first episode aired, the cast and crew eagerly awaited the ratings results, and René shot a short film about ants.

12. A special day
While René is in Milan to introduce some actors to an advertising agency, the assistant director and the director of photography swap roles.

13. Stanis must not die
The series is suspended due to low ratings, so René has to remove all the cast members from the scene in the final episode and Boris is not feeling well.

14. The last episode
While the budget forces the production to shoot the final episode in just two days, everyone is anxious to find out whether the series will be canceled or not.
