Buffy is learning to deal with life since all the Slayers were activated and Sunnydale was destroyed. Meanwhile, the Military has decided that Buffy is trouble and has rescued Amy and another from the ruins of Sunnydale and recruited them to kill Buffy.

2. Issue 2: The Long Way Home (2)
Amy traps Buffy in a nightmare and attacks the slayers with an army of living dead.

3. Issue 3: The Long Way Home (3)
Amy's attack on Buffy is revealed to be a diversion for her real goal, to capture Willow.

Buffy storms the military's complex to rescue Willow.

5. Issue 5: The Chain
A decoy of the real Buffy Summers is sent underground to stop Yamanh from leading his army to the surface.
