This episode presents the red sandstone rocks of Belogradchik and the Central Balkan.

2. Rila, Pirin und Rhodopen im Süden

The second episode leads to the mountain ranges Rila, Pirin, Rhodopes and Strandscha in the south of Bulgaria, which were settled by Thracians, Slavs, Byzantines and Romans in the course of history.
