Captain Star
Captain Star was an animated television series starring Richard E. Grant as Captain Jim Star, based on a comic by Steven Appleby: Rockets Passing Overhead. Only thirteen episodes of thirty-minutes each were produced and aired. The series ran on the British ITV and Canadian TELETOON networks from 1997 to 1998. The show was also later repeated on Nickelodeon UK.

1. The Atomic Alarm Clock
The Captain is having difficulty waking up in the mornings, so Scarlette gets him an atomic alarm clock. But when jones gives the captain a toy remote control model of the boiling hell, it turns out that the mechanism to make it run actually made the real ship run in which was sent into space!. Jones is so sorry for what happened, whats more is that mission control is history & he can't do anything about it. Untill a ship that looks like the boiling hell arrives on the planet with it's co-pilot being a student with captain star at the academy when they were young called bloater. Bloater agrees to help save mission control untill he turns his back on jones by sending him into an airlock & wanting to bring an end to the miserable mission control. Captain star stops him & when he finds jones with an 8 headed(1 head broke off)space suit, he realizes that they were always in the boiling hell!. 2. Day of the Zooties
When a messenger Droid comes to the planet, it offers a new brand of carpet which can do everything necessary to make you feel at home. but Captain Star hates this and with officer scarlet, they find out that this is a millitary experiment gone terribly wrong. But when the crew is brain-washed into shampooing the carpet, Captain star must make a new plan into destroying the carpet by polluting it with so much dust that it will be blinded & forced into retreat.
3. The Worm Turns
When jones gets bonked on the head by furniture while on his way to tell Captain Star orders, Star needs the orders badly. So Scarlet decides to use one of the worms,""Jim"" which she found in a colony that were trained under her, to go into Jones' brain and retrieve the forgotten orders. Unfortunally, Jim decides to make a nest for her eggs because she's a girl!. After failed attempts to rescue ""Jim"" with Jim-BOB-BOB, Jones will need to cry like a man to get her out along with Jim-BOB-BOB or else he could suffer serious brain damage. after crying them out, The orders are that an alien group has constructed a moon resembling that of the captain's head.
4. No Future
When Jones loses the ""loose-spruce""(A ship part), The crew will need to wait for a new ""loose-spruce"" Which they don't mind... untill a meteor is flying towards the nameless planet and the crew needs to escape or else they will be destroyed with the planet. They try numerous ""loose-spruce's"" to no avail of working. But the captain always has a new plan by making the meteor orbit around the ship & firing it back into space.
5. Nine Heads Are Better Than One
When Jones feels lonely, he decides to find new ways of finding a companion such as making a cloud replicant of them. When that fails, they decide to send a mail order in for a new friend Who amazingly enough, is also named Jones(but with 1 head and 6 arms)(Editor note: To tell apart the different Jones, I will signify OJ(Old Jones) as the 9 headed jones, & FJ(Friendly Jones) as the one headed Jones. Please try to bare with me). But could this new friend be all he seems?. Soon enough, Everyone forgets about OJ that he want's to leave the crew. But when the Boiling hell Fills up with water & the crew is trapped & the only way for them to escape is by dialing a digit code in the overflowing bridge underwater, it's up to OJ & his 8 heads to head underwater while his 9th head listens to the captain & his passcode for draining the ship of water above the water(WHOA! there's alot of water in there!).
6. Waiting for Sputnik
Remembering an innconent with his beloved cat sputnik after watching an episode of ""Star of Space"", Jones decides to find a perfect companion and eventually, finds a cat that reminds him of sputnik. unfortunally, it's growing too big and if it doesn't get removed, the whole planet could be in danger.
