Cave Kids
Cave Kids is a 30-minute short-lived animated series and spin-off of The Flintstones starring Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm. It was produced by Hanna-Barbera for Cartoon Network and aired in 1996. The series followed the adventures of Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm as pre-schoolers with Dino, the Flintstones' family dog as their babysitter. Unlike the original Flintstones series and its several spin-off productions featuring the kids and their famous parents, this show focused more on educational values and lessons for children. An earlier Cave Kids effort was published by Golden Press, both as a Little Golden Book in 1963, and also as a Gold Key Comics series spanning 16 issues from 1963 through 1967.
Seasons
1. Sand Castle Surprise
Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are watering some plants around a garden when their imagination kicks in and they grow a giant beanstalk. When the giant comes down and kidnapped Dino, Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm comes up with a crack plan to rescue Dino, with a little help from a new friend.
2. Kiss and Spell
When Pebbles' plate got broken during a dispute with Bamm-Bamm, they head to China (which is unlike the China we know today) in hopes of getting their plates fixed. However, what happened next is that they stumble onto a war zone between General Fork and General Ladle. So, they try to bring peace into the land, which they're successful at. And for that, they receive a reward that helps repair Pebble's plate.
3. Beanstalk Blues
Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm goes down the drain and to recover Dino's collar when it accidently gets washed down the bathtub while they're giving (a reluctant) Dino a bath. They meet with the infamous sewer alligator, and by chance, fixes his nasty attitude when they bring him out of the sewer.
4. China Challenge
Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm are at the beach, when they go into a world ruled by a King Crab, who happens to have extreme shyness. Problem is, King Crab's shyness is being exploited by the chaimberlain, who plans to overthrow the king. Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm tries to help the King Crab, but the chaimberlain catches them and tries to feed them to a dragon. But King Crab eventually overcomes his shyness, defeats the dragon, and the evil chaimberlain falls into the moat while ranting in defeat.
5. Of Mice and Moon
A search for Gretel, Pebble's lost doll, takes Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm to fairytale land. They encounter talking trees, a talking frog, Little Red Riding Hood(who'se obese and not so little after all) and Robin Hood before finding Gretel. They learn that Gretel is searching for her brother Hansel, so they join her. They run into a house made of candy and encounter a witch. They were then captured by the witch, and learns that Hansel was transformed into a frog. While the witch works on making more frog-potions, they spot Frog Hansel by the window. Using their wits, they turn Hansel back into a doll from a frog and tries to escape, but the witch caucht them and cornered them. Just when things looked bad, Red Riding Hood eats a hole in the house, and Robin Hood turns up. But Red Riding Hood and Robin Hood together, not a good thing. Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm then turn the witch into a frog by making the spray with the potion the witch was holding explode.
6. Cave Kid Christmas
Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm visits the moon and meets with both a moon mouse and the lady on the moon. So, they work to make both the mouse and the lady friends.
