A masked perpetrator murders a prominent politician and leaves an old, golden coin in his hand. Nikola Bobic, a defence attorney, reluctantly takes a case and plunges into a dangerous game that will change his life forever.
1. Episode 1
An unusual ritual takes place at the asylum. The runner up gets killed. The police quick actions lead to the suspect.
2. Episode 2
A prosperous, successful lawyer Nikola Bobic takes over the case. The prosecutor is his ex girlfriend Ana. The trial begins. The new players are the police investigator Drobnjak and the victim's astranged wife Mira.
3. Episode 3
There are twists and turns at the trial. Nikola is at his best. Dragan is released. His girlfriend Sonja helped being unseen.
4. Episode 4
Reporter Bojana has been present since the very start. Her greatest interest was in the lawyer not the case. Dragan tries to get back to normal life.
5. Episode 5
Ana, the prosecutor, will have to face consequences, the elections are upcoming and her bossed need closer - getting the murderer. Her police investigator and Ana make an odd couple. Another murder takes place. Are the murders connected?
6. Episode 6
Nikola has been attacked. He has been haunted by his past. Mira, the widow has been threatened. The judge has been blackmailed.
7. Episode 7
Nikola starts his own investigation with the help of his retired police officer uncle. Somebody has to pay for the misled trial.

Nikola is wrongfully accused, Ana the prosecutor also set up. Each have their way of solving the problems. The character from the prison is not who he seems to be.

All the characters show their true face, but the final battle is just about to start.
