Christmas Wishes
Juleønsket is about 12-year-old Julie to whom Christmas is very important. Especially Christmas Eve. When she finds out that not all of her family members will be there on Christmas, she makes a wish. A wish so strong that it reaches the Angels.
Seasons
1. Christmas wish
12-year-old Julie has only one wish for Christmas, and that is to be with her family on Christmas Eve. Her whole family - mother Vidgis, father Karsten, half-sister Mie and little brother Toke. But both her mother and father have to work on December 24th, and Mie has other plans. So Julie wishes - really wishes - for things to change so they can all be together on Christmas Eve.
2. The Homeless Angel
Rafi has settled into the old ferry grill as shelter from the cold, which he is not used to. Julie is somewhat surprised to meet Rafi, who tells her that he lives there without parents. In the angel world, Zacharias is worried about the powerful lightning that struck the schoolyard.
3. Rafi's new family
Julie can't shake the idea that Karsten was away when she was born. So she and Willy go through the family photos and find out that there isn't a single picture of her and Karsten together until she was four months old. Gabi and Michael must investigate the school for signs of a demon. They can move in with Rafi and help him at the same time, but he must not know about their real mission.
4. The Christmas competition
It's the school's big Christmas rocking day, where you can win a class party. A competition that Julie really wants to win. It's also the day Rafi starts in the same class as Julie, which she's very surprised about. He has his 'mother' Gabi and 'uncle' Michael with him. Michael and Mie are talking at school, and Cecilie and Ditte see this, and they're very keen to meet Michael because they think he's hot.
5. Construction day
At the top of the Great Belt Bridge, Gabi, Michael, Zacharias and Arron gather. Now they are certain that there is a demon in the area, but they don't know which one. So they have Arron search the Angel Archive for old reports of demon activity in the area.
6. Ambush attack
Michael is worried about whether the children are in danger from the demon, but Gabi says he should be more worried about himself, since demons go after angels. Julie asks Rafi if he will help her talk to her father, because she wants to know if Karsten is her real father. Ole Pehrsson still insists that Willy should go to a sport, and now Willy's mother Mette is also on board with the idea.
7. Guardian angel
Vigdis and Karsten are worried about Julie, who has isolated herself in her room. They decide that Karsten should talk to her. But Julie's picture of her family has been turned upside down. The guardian angels meet at the top of the Great Belt Bridge and take stock: Arron's condition is critical, and the only thing keeping him alive is the source of strength.
8. Secrets
The atmosphere is tense at both the Nørgaard family and the angels. In both places, the children feel that the adults are keeping something secret. Julie asks Vigdis who her real father is, but Vigdis avoids talking. And does Julie really want to know who her father is?
9. Rafi's Choice
Rafi has been summoned to the angelic council. The archangels Saraquel, Zacharias and Uriel take him to the Source of Power, where Arron is being kept alive. They tell him that Arron has been attacked by a demon, and that Gabi and Michael's mission is to find and fight the demon. Julie has a slight suspicion about who her biological father is, so now she wants to investigate further.
10. I saw Santa Claus
Rafi now knows there's a demon on the loose, but that doesn't mean he has to help hunt it down. In fact, he should stay away and focus on Julie's wish instead. Gabi and Michael head to the school library to look for books on local history, because maybe the incident with the demon 400 years ago was something that humans noticed.
11. Baalios
Julie, Rafi, Willy and Toke go to Atlas Berg's summer house to ask him if he remembers Vigdis from a horror film shoot and if they were lovers. Atlas Berg prefers to talk about his big Hollywood productions, but admits that there was probably a girl he 'kissed' with a little. On the way out of the house, Rafi discovers something that makes him doubt whether Atlas Berg is really who he says he is.
12. The Demon Mark
In the ferry grill, the angels are going through piles of old documents. Zacharias has asked them to stay safe until the angelic council is ready with a united effort against Baalios. Gabi tells Rafi that Baalios has a unique demon mark somewhere on his body. Rafi cannot forget that Atlas is actually called Boris, a name that Baalios has used before. He persuades Gabi to talk to Atlas Berg.
13. Lucia
It's the day before the Lucia parade. Even though Michael has gotten the most beautiful Lucia dresses, Mie is still sad, because the other girls are going to meet after the parade, but Mie is not invited. Vigdis gives Julie a note with a name - Julie's father's full name - so she can look for him. Michael sneaks past the ferry grill to get candles for the parade, but meets a furious Gabi who wants to know if he borrowed seven ceremonial robes.
14. Gabi's Strength
Julie and Willy watch the movie over and over again, where Gabi flies away with her big golden wings. They talk about how it's not just Gabi who is different, but also Michael and Rafi. In the ferry grill, Gabi and Michael practice close combat, and Rafi whistles in admiration, but is reprimanded by Gabi, as only demons whistle.
15. Burglary
At the top of the Great Belt Bridge, Zacharias hears about the nightly meeting with Baalios. But Gabi doesn't tell him that Michael froze in fear and was struck by her lightning. Julie and Willy have sworn that they won't tell anyone that angels live in the ferry grill. But it's hard when you're like Julie, bursting with curiosity.
16. Lice from Egypt
Zacharias explains to Gabi and Michael about the efforts against Baalios: Guardian angels have been placed with the three Lucia girls who have not yet had a break-in. Mie has been visited by her mother, Charlotte, who is home from Egypt. At school, Julie tells Rafi that she is upset that her family is scattered to all sides on Christmas Eve.
17. Jack and the World Map
Day and night, Gabi and the other guardian angels are looking for Baalios. When the ferry grill is empty, Julie and Willy sneak in. They see the angels' drawings and documents about Baalios. At school, Mie tells Anders that she wants to play with him at the Christmas party anyway.
18. Secret Mission
Julie's mission is to search Jack's workshop without him noticing. That's why she needs Willy to keep watch. Rafi gets help from the archangel of death Uriel. Together they go to the hospital to find a doctor who can take Vigdis' watch on December 24th. It's the last day before the holidays and time for Christmas graduation in the 9th grade.
19. Baalios' Cave
The angels have tracked down where Jack might be. Zacharias sends a special force of the best guardian angels but Gabi is not allowed to come along. Ditte has invited Mie and Anders to her party. Unfortunately, both Karsten and Vigdis have to work, so Mie has to look after her siblings unless Michael wants to help her. In the ferry grill, Julie discovers a drawing of the play structure in the schoolyard.
20. Asbjorn
In the old ferry grill, the angels are packing up and erasing all traces of them. But Zacharias still has Julie's small, bright wish. Julie has gathered some Christmas decorations, which she takes to Jack. Down in the janitor's workshop, Julie finds a picture that resembles one she has seen before.
21. Go with the force
Julie has baked cookies, and together with Willy she goes over to the school to give some to Jack. At school they talk about Rafi's ceremony, and they don't even realize that anyone is listening. On the way home Rafi, Julie and Willy go for a walk in the woods.
22. Demonheart
Julie and Willy have one wish: They want to see Rafi. Zacharias says no, but Saraquel thinks they might be able to make an exception, and Julie and Willy go on the flight of a lifetime. Mie and Anders have become lovers, and they are going to have dinner together. But first, Anders has an agreement with Ole Pehrsson, who will lock him in the school.
23. The big showdown
Julie wakes up and sees something under her bed - the small stone from the demon cave, now emitting a bright red light. She grabs Willy, because they need to contact the angels as soon as possible. Willy gets an idea: If Julie could send a wish up to the angels on December 1st, they must be able to do it again.
24. Merry Christmas
Now it's finally Christmas, but Julie is sad that the angels are gone. Mette is busy in the kitchen, because she and Willy are going to spend Christmas with Ole Pehrsson. Toke is very happy, because now he will finally get all the big presents he has been wishing for all December. On a ship far away, Jack is going to spend Christmas by himself. But he gets a shock when he suddenly comes face to face with someone he knows.
