With the voiceover from our narrator, BBC Breakfast's Bill Turnbull, adding some wonderfully unnecessary gravitas to the proceedings. Seasons
Pupils Billy, Tahj, Emily and Jasmine, arrive for the first day of Year 8, but Dockbridge High isn't like every other secondary school. Far from it.
1. First Day of Term
It's the first day of a new term at Dockbridge High and the two deputy heads can't agree on anything.
2. Wednesday
Mr Christopher demonstrates his musical talent, Miss Franks teaches the class "practical French", and Miss Bolton proves her ability in just about every sport imaginable.
3. Shakespeare Day
Shakespeare Day proves eventful as the staff at Dockbridge High adopt unorthodox methods to get the students excited about Shakespeare. Meanwhile, Mr Nasal has developed a crush on Miss Spray.
4. Parents Evening
Mrs Mark shows blatant favoritism towards her son Mark, Miss Dior-Durant inflicts her taste in fashion onto unsuspecting parents, and Miss Franks struggles to communicate with Tahj's mum.
5. VIP
It's announced that the school will be visited by a surprise VIP guest, for which Mr Christopher choreographs a Cats-inspired performance, Miss Flip unveils a prized sculpture, and Mr Oakley carves a chair from a single piece of oak.
6. Thursday
Mr Windlow sets the class yet another difficult business task, Mr Capp is caught graffitiing the walls, and Mr Konnundrum uses maths to describe a "hypothetical" scenario in which a man is sold a snake by another man on a bus.
7. Bird Inside
Site manager Dave sets out to catch a pigeon that has snuck into the school, Sir Stanley Bleacher encourages the class to act by embodying the characteristics of birds, and Miss Pinkham hosts a charity auction in aid of "endangered stuff".
8. Ofsted
The staff at Dockbridge High are in a state of panic during the school's Ofsted inspection. Mrs Tucker accidentally reveals her stash of pies in the cafeteria, and Mr Schofield offers a once in a lifetime opportunity in General Studies.
9. Friday
Miss Davis starts a breakfast club with unpleasant results, Whizz Pinkham teaches cycling proficiency, and Mr Window gathers "Team Thrust" to discuss the results of their most recent business assignment.
10. School Trip
Mr Konnundrum has some issues with his alarm clock, Mr Hart overreacts when Martin has a cough, and the school trip the class has been looking forward to is canceled when the school bus breaks down.
11. Exams
In the midst of exams, Miss Goldfish covers English despite her memory issues, Miss Openshaw uses her call-center experience to cover Product Design, and Mr Nasal and Miss Spray enjoy a romantic date in the cafeteria.
12. End of Term
Miss Flip enlists the students' help in tidying up the classroom at the end of term, Mr Christopher announces his departure, and Miss Davis finally catches on to the foul odors she emits in her classroom.
