3. Family Politics
Ashley has set her sights on becoming Degrassi's School President. Toby, spurred on by their awkward new situation as step-siblings, is frustrated by her unchallenged status and convinces J.T. to run against her. The conflict follows them home.

4. Eye of the Beholder
Terri feels uneasy about the school dance and her crush on Spinner, which is not helped by Paige's behavior. Toby and J.T. decide to watch pornography instead of going to the dance. Emma meets Sean at the dance.

5. Parents' Day
Why would Toby rather risk expulsion than have his parents there together? Why would Ashley get completely dolled up - just for a bunch of old folks? And that Paige seems to be planning to get in the way again...

6. The Mating Game
it's time to buckle down on assignments! But don't worry, it's not all work - Dr. Sally (aka "The Sex Lady") is also coming to spice things up with her own brand of education... Jimmy's playing Romeo for the English class assignments - but what if Ashley's not his Juliet? Could it be a problem for Degrassi's longest-running couple? (They've been together 8 whole months!) And why's Toby choosing endangered animals for his Media Immersion project? Could it have anything to do with impressing Emma?

7. Basketball Diaries
Jimmy desperately wants to make the basketball team. But surprisingly, it looks like Sean is surpassing him as a possible star player. Adding to Jimmy's pressure is his academic status – he's been given a few warnings since he can't seem to balance school and sports. When he convinces hyperactive Spinner to skip a Ritalin pill and give it to him instead, he plays a great game – but not as a team player.

8. Secrets and Lies
After a long absence overseas, Ashley's dad is back in town. She's enjoying his company and attention, but something tells her there's a piece of his life that's being kept from her. Under pressure, her mother reveals a long-kept secret. Meanwhile, Liberty admits to J.T. that she has a crush on him.

9. Coming of Age
Lacking real family time at home, Jimmy has been spending more and more time at Ashley's house. He and Toby have become like brothers. When Ashley asks him to stay away for a night and he turns up anyway with Toby, she's had it and decides to break up with him. Meanwhile Emma's dealing with an issue of her own.

10. Rumours and Reputations
Emma believes that something is going on between Mr. Armstrong and Liberty. Before long, a rumor has spread throughout the school. Meanwhile, Spinner finds a bug in his cafeteria lunch.

11. Friday Night
Jimmy and Spinner receive detention with Ms. Kwan and later, they decide to get revenge. Meanwhile, Emma and Sean's first date goes awry.

12. Wannabe
Manny decides to audition for cheerleading, but Emma believes that cheerleading is sexist. Meanwhile, J.T., Toby, Liberty and Spinner try to win a contest for one million dollars.

13. Cabaret
Degrassi puts on a talent show! Ashley wants to sing her new ballad with Terri. Terri would rather add Paige – and some fun sparkle – to the act, but she's not sure how to tell Ashley. Meanwhile, Emma and Toby perform a dance routine.

14. Under Pressure
Sean and Spinner are stressed about the upcoming exams. Sean picks a fight with Jimmy, but ends up hurting Emma instead. Spinner tries to get out of the exams by getting sick.

15. Jagged Little Pill
With their parents away for the weekend, Ashley and Toby have a party at their house. Ashley tries an ecstasy pill to seem more fun, but her plan backfires.
