Adri Joubert is the darling newsreader, but both the news and her role as main presenter are in jeopardy. But then a personal tragedy strikes and all her fears fade.

Sports presenter Tersia takes Adri's place as she mourns her husband. Adri and Daniel struggle to believe that Dawid's death was simply an accidental hijacking.

Adri returns as a news presenter. Suspicion grows about the man she and Dawid had an argument with just before Dawid's death.

Luke le Roux's damaging video about Adri's marriage has the public buzzing. Adri's emotional state begins to affect her broadcasts. She calls in Nhlanhla to help her investigate.

Adri and Sonia meet, and Sonia insists that what happened the night of Dawid's death was just an accident. Adri puts together a task force to thoroughly investigate the whistleblower story.

Johan stuns the team when he unexpectedly and summarily resigns, but Adri steps in to lead the team. They prepare to detonate the first whistleblower bomb.

With the final bits of the story ready to air, Adri faces a big decision. Meanwhile, Daniël has his own plan about who should hear the full truth.
