Elise attends an award ceremony where she is bestowed the Order of the Imperial Rose. It's a good day, filled with congratulations from all around, but Elise's head is filled with thoughts of the physician's exam. Then, Minchester suddenly collapses!
12. A Path
Elise knows that tragedy is nearly upon them. She devotes everything she has to one final, desperate effort. Then, the physician's exam finally begins. After everything is done, Elise's convictions about how she wants to live her life only grow stronger.
