1988

This show-within-a-show was a slyly comedic "What's Up, Tiger Lily"-style re-edit and overdubbing of six episodes of the 7th season of the Japanese TV series Super Sentai, Kagaku Sentai Dynaman. In each episode, the brilliant (but cheap) Dr. Ho sends the Dynakids (five good looking Japanese friends!) to save the world from the evil machinations of his former partners Bernie Tanaka and Mel Fujitzu and the giant monsters they create.

The Dynakids are introduced to Dr. Ho and embark on their first adventure: preventing Nigel and Cy Steinberg from illegally filming a music video in Dynatown.

2. Rhinoman

Barney and Mel create Rhinoman: the ultimate party crasher! Can the Dynakids save the day? Everybody HAI !!!

3. The Lizard of Oz

Can the Dynakids stop Barney, Mel and Nigel's evil scheme to transmute the residents of Dynatown into lizards for their all-lizard remake of The Wizard of Oz? And what about those adorable orphans?

4. The Day of the Dolphin: Flipper's Revenge

The Dynakids have their hands full when Mr. Flipper seeks revenge against Uncle Wiggily by enslaving the undersea population by turning the Marine life psychedelic! And what will happen when Frankie is lost to the siren call of a mermaid desperate for help?!?

5. The Seven Loves of Lucky Pierre

Lucy's revenge against all the girls who mocked her tail back in high school? Force them to marry the big, stinky frog Lucky Pierre with his mesmerizing eyes and his hypnotic Paul McCartney medley! That McCartney... gets 'em every time!!

6. The Last Adventures of Spunky The Wonder Squid

Dyna Black's alien Uncle Roger and Aunt Patty come to Earth to give him a nuclear power plant for his birthday... but Mel and Barney are jealous! Can Spunky the Wonder Squid impersonate Uncle Roger long enough to spoil the party?
